 The Treaty of Amsterdam (1999) taking into consideration the ECC 75/ 117 Directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the application of the principle of equal pay for men and women amended the original Treaty of Rome 119 Article and has changed its numbering to 141. §. According to Article 141 (1) Each Member State shall ensure that the principle of equal pay for male and female workers for equal work or work of equal value is applied. |  |
