Act on Legal Status of Public Officials and its amendment (Act LXXXIII of 2007)

It stipulates the remuneration of the public officials. The remuneration of the public official: base remunerations + the remuneration supplement +remuneration allowance.
There are 3 classes (classification classes, within these salary categories, public service legal relationship, multiplier)

 


According to Article 33 of the amendment of Law on Legal Status of Public Officials the Heads of official organisations may within their untransferable authority increase the base remuneration of public officials by a maximum of 30%, or may define the base remuneration of public officials in an amount reduced by a maximum of 20%. Those public officials might be entitled to special bonuses who have successfully performed special assignments. The amount of bonus is maximum 50 % of the basis for remuneration which is paid by the public official's institute. Similarly, the maximum bonus 50% of the basis for remuneration could be given to public officials who have taken part in a project belonging to the central state administration; the bonus is paid from the budget of the Prime Minister's Office.
